Fusion44X is a chlorine-free residential pool-water management system.
What is Hydro-pH-Infusion?
Fusion44X uses 31–32% muriatic acid internally as part of its patented Hydro-pH-Infusion process to generate hydrogen. The acid is never poured, injected or fed into the pool or spa water.
Does Fusion44X use muriatic acid?
Yes. Fusion44X uses 31–32% muriatic acid internally. Muriatic acid and any required external container are not included with the equipment purchase.
Does the acid enter the pool?
No. The acid is never poured, injected or fed into the pool or spa water.

Does Fusion44X require chlorine?
Fusion44X is designed to operate without chlorine, salt-chlorine generation, routine pool shock, algaecide or stabilizer.

Does Fusion44X require salt?
No. Fusion44X is designed to operate without salt-chlorine generation.
Does Fusion44X eliminate pool care?
No. Testing, water balance, circulation, filtration and physical cleaning remain part of pool ownership.
Is a saltwater pool chlorine-free?
No. Saltwater chlorine generators produce chlorine.
COMPATIBILITY
Will Fusion44X Work With My Pool?
Can Fusion44X be installed on an existing pool?
Existing pools can be reviewed for compatibility based on pool volume, climate, bather load, circulation, filtration and equipment.
Can Fusion44X be planned for a new pool?
Yes. Fusion44X can be evaluated during new-pool planning.
Can Fusion44X work with pool automation?
Fusion44X can be integrated with common Pentair, Hayward, Jandy and Poolside Tech automation systems. Automation is not required.
How do I know if my pool qualifies?
Complete the Pool Fit Check for a preliminary recommendation. Final suitability depends on the full pool and equipment review.
INSTALLATION
What Does Fusion44X Installation Involve?
Does Fusion44X install the equipment?
Professional installation is not included in the online equipment price. Installation by an experienced pool professional is recommended.
Is installation labor included in the equipment price?
No. Professional installation, muriatic acid, the acid container and any site-specific plumbing or electrical materials are not included.
What should I know before installation?
Fusion44X requires access to a compatible 110V electrical connection. If your pool equipment is below the pool’s waterline, contact Fusion44X technical support before installation. Installation by an authorized Fusion44X dealer is required for lifetime parts warranty eligibility.
MAINTENANCE
What Pool Care Still Remains?
Does chlorine-free mean maintenance-free?
No. Routine water testing, water balance, circulation, filtration and physical cleaning are still required.
What maintenance does a Fusion44X pool still require?
Continue testing, filtration, circulation and physical cleaning as directed by the current Owner’s Quick Reference Guide.
Do I still need to clean my pool filter?
Yes. Pump and filter maintenance remains part of routine pool care.
Do I still need to clean the pump basket?
Yes. Continue normal pump and skimmer basket care.

How Much Does Fusion44X Cost?
What are the Fusion44X prices?
The Single Pool System is $4,890, the Large Pool System is $7,690, and the Spa Fusion44X System is $2,890. The replacement probe is $399.
What size Fusion44X system does my pool need?
For Arizona and Nevada pools, the Single Pool System covers 4,000–13,000 gallons and the Large Pool System covers 14,000–35,000 gallons. In other U.S. states, the respective ranges are 4,000–15,000 and 16,000–35,000 gallons. The spa system covers 500–3,500 gallons nationwide. All recommendations are preliminary and depend on operating conditions.
How often should the probe be replaced?
Replace the included probe after approximately 2,100 operating hours. Actual calendar time depends on daily runtime.
